“Challengers” grossed $1.9 million on Thursday. It’s eyeing a $12-15 million weekend (via Variety). The budget for the film is said to be around $55 million, a tad higher than the originally reported $50 million. The film is a good test for Zendaya’s current star power, and, sadly, it’s not looking good for her. Maybe word of mouth will give it a boost on Friday and Saturday.
