Austin Butler (“Elvis”) is in talks for a role in Ari Aster's next film, “Eddington”. No details on the role just yet (via Daniel Richtman). I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already signed on since the film is supposed to start production next month.
“Eddington” will be shooting on March 11 in Albuquerque, via Production Weekly. That’s a day after the Oscars — Emma Stone, who is supposed to star in the film, might win Best Actress the day before production begins.
The film, which is rumoured to star Stone, Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal and, now, Butler, is a Western that takes place during the pandemic. It’s being described as an “ensemble film.” Candice Bergen is also supposed to be part of the cast.
As expected, Snyder's latest is being torn apart by TIFF attendees. No mercy given. The film, which had its world premiere this evening, is being called by some one of the worst movies to ever premiere at the festival.
