Gosh, there’s a live-action remake of “How To Train Your Dragon” coming our way. This has the same director of the animated film, and even Gerard Butler reprising his role as Stoick. DreamWorks is thinking big money with this one.
As seen in the new trailer, “How to Train Your Dragon” is going to be very similar to the animated film. In fact, it looks like a copy and paste version. Toothless also looks just as “animated” as in the original. We’re looking at a potential carbon copy retread much like what Disney did with their 2019 live-action ‘Lion King.’
The cast includes Mason Thames, Gerard Butler, Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur. The film is written and directed by ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ franchise helmer Dean DeBlois.
“How to Train Your Dragon” is set to release in theaters on June 13, 2025.
