Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” is a little more than a month away from being released. A few weeks back I had posted about the film’s U.S. posters. They made it look like a straight to DVD movie. That, it is not. It’s top quality filmmaking.
Now we have the release of the French poster and it’s not any better. It’s like they’re not even trying. It looks like a copy and paste job. Nothing about this poster conveys story, setting or theme. I guess we’ll just have to settle with the movie.
No, but really, I could have done a better job. Most of our readers could have done a better job. It’s not that hard to find a few hours to bring some kind of decent artistry to a poster design.
Apple and Paramount are banking on this one. They had previously announced that “Killers of the Flower Moon” is going to be released worldwide on October 20th. For many, it’s the movie event of the year.
