It’s “mid” according to Games Radar, IndieWire, The Independent, The Wrap, and The Daily Beast. The Evening Standard didn’t like it.
Rolling Stone calls it her “best film since “Lost in Translation.” Glowing praise indeed.
EARLIER: Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” is embargoed until later this afternoon. Again, a wide range of reactions that I’ve gathered, both pro and con, that we’ll just have to wait and see how the reviews pan out. The people whose tastes I trust were lukewarm on it, but I am seeing some positive notices on Letterboxd. More to come …
