France has revealed the five movies shortlisted by its Oscar committee to represent the country in the international feature film race. The contenders are Justine Triet’s “Anatomy of a Fall” Trần Anh Hùng‘s “The Taste of Things,” Clement Cogitore’s “Sons of Ramses” Thomas Cailley’s “The Animal Kingdom” and Denis Imbert’s “Sur les chemins noirs.” France hasn’t won a Foreign/International film Oscar in over 30 years.
