Selena Gomez is looking for her Oscar role and it might come in the form of playing ‘70s musical icon Linda Ronstadt. Roger Friedman is reporting that James Keach, who produced the award winning documentary, “The Sound of My Voice,” about Ronstadt, penned a screenplay for the biopic and that Gomez is in talks to star. Gomez is absolute perfect casting, just look at the picture above, she looks exactly like the musical legend. Ronstadt, known for “You’re No Good” and “Blue Bayou,” has been battling Parkinson’s for a few years now — this film could be a wonderful tribute to her legendary career.
