The latest instalment of Kenneth Branagh’s detective Hercule Poirot series is “A Haunting in Venice.” Here’s the trailer. The film is set to arrive in theaters on September 15th.
The first two instalments were last year’s “Death on the Nile” and 2017’s “Murder on the Orient Express.” Branagh is again adaptating an Agatha Christie mystery novel, so the source material is trust-worthy.
As seen in the trailer, “A Haunting in Venice” is a horror movie. Poirot investigates another mystery, this one involving a medium who claims to speak with the dead. Poirot thinks she’s a scam artist, or is she?
The cast includes Branagh, Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Jude Hill, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly and Riccardo Scamarcio. ‘Haunting’ has a screenplay penned by Michael Green.
