What’s with all of these studios underreporting the budgets of their summer blockbusters? A NYT interview with Greta Gerwig has the production cost of “Barbie” actually at $145 million. Almost everyone’s been saying, for months, that the budget was $100 million. Must have been all the extra pink paint they bought.
