The top 2 movies in America are CGI-heavy and based on toys/comics. How lucky are we to live in these times — this bodes well for “Barbie.” And, hey, at least ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ is a damn good movie.
“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” might hit a $60 million opening this weekend. I haven’t even watched the trailer for this one. Can anyone convince me to go see it? Its CinemaScore was A- so it’s definitely satisfying fans.
Yes, it’s a sequel, and, I believe, the seventh ‘Transformers’ movie in the franchise. Long gone are Shia LaBoeuf and Megan Fox (at least she was eye candy). ‘Rise of the Beasts’ stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback.
