… and it’s the writer of “Aeon Flux” and “Clash of the Titans”?! Phil Hay tweeted, “This is a good time to say that I’ve seen “Oppenheimer” and it is spectacular.”
To be fair, Hay also wrote Karyn Kusama’s “Destroyer” and “The Invitation.” Christopher Nolan actually conducted a post-screening Q&A for the former during the thick of awards season 2018.
So, Hay thinks “Oppenheimer” is “spectacular”. We’re six weeks away from its release date, and it’ll be press screened during the last week of June — I’m there.
“Oppenheimer” is Rated R, clocks in at 3 hours, isn’t an action movie and has quite a few black and white scenes. This is turning into a risk for Nolan and I’m definitely there for it.
Hüller, known for her roles in “Anatomy of a Fall,” and “The Zone of Interest,” will take on the role of Wolfgang Herrndorf, who began recording his experiences after receiving a terminal brain tumor diagnosis.
