“Beetlejuice 2” has begun filming in the UK. The sequel stars Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe.
The film is set to be Tim Burton’s first movie since 2019’s “Dumbo.” Let’s hope he gets back on track with this one after a slew of duds. His last great movie was probably 2007’s “Sweeney Todd.”
Anything Burton does should be noted, I’ll always abide by the church of films he released from 1985 to 1999: “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure,” “Beetlejuice,” “Batman,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “Batman Returns,” “Ed Wood,” “Mars Attacks” and “Sleepy Hollow.”
