Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon”, from Apple, Paramount and Imperative Entertainment, just crossed the $100M mark at the worldwide box office. It’s actually currently at $102.1M worldwide, including $45.3M domestic and $56.8M overseas. There is no chance for this film to break even, its budget was $200 million, but Apple knew that, they just want Oscars and brand recognition. In fact, they claim to be “very pleased” with the box office results.
The film is set to shoot in fall 2027. The idea would be to release it in December 2028, timed to Trump's exit from office. Oh, and it's now Warner Bros.' indie label, Clockwork, that's backing the film.
