After “Hit Man” and “Woman of the Hour,” Netflix has acquired its third well-reviewed title out of TIFF. This time it’s Azazel Jacobs’ “His Three Daughters” which was bought for just under $7 million. No word yet on whether it’ll be released this year. In fact, all three of Netflix’s TIFF acquisition have no release dates. You can read my “His Three Daughters” review — it feature three great performances from Carrie Coon, Elisabeth Olsen and Natasha Lyonne.
Criterion's December lineup has some great additions to the library, but the title that jumped out at me is Werner Herzog's "Grizzly Man," which officially joins the Collection on December 8.
