Jeff Nichols’ “The Bikeriders” has been delayed indefinitely amid the ongoing actors’ strike. The film was supposed to open on December 1st, 2023. Now it has no release date.
The cast of “The Bikeriders” is stacked, including the likes of Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Norman Reedus and Mike Faist. Disney probably sees a better opportunity to promote this one once the strike ends.
The film premiered at Telluride in September. The reviews were good — an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and 74 on Metacritic. I just hope this isn't the start of a wave of further delays
