Reminder: Venice Film Festival Screening Schedule

August 16, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

The Venice Film Festival released its schedule a few weeks ago. I’m just reposting this as it’ll most likely come in handy for those who want to follow the post-screening reactions:

8/31 Baumbach
9/1 Field, Inarritu, Wiseman
9/2 Guadagnino, Poitras, Gavras
9/3 Schrader, Aronofsky
9/5 Wilde, McDonagh, Hogg
9/6 Diop, Hill
9/7 Zeller
9/8 Dominik
9/9 Panahi

Andrew Dominik’s “Blonde” is being shown very late into the fest. Ditto Florian Zeller’s “The Son. Usually, Venice packs the big titles during the first four or five days, but this year it’s a little more spread out.

Venice boss Alberto Barbera has mentioned that the festival wouldn't be so front-loaded this year, mostly due to Telluride choosing less Venezia titles than usual for their own lineup.

The madness will begin on Wednesday evening when Noah Baumbach’s “White Noise” opens up the festival.
