Opening Venice and New York is Noah Baumbach’s “White Noise.” A teaser has been released.
Inject this movie into my veins ASAP.
It looks like a mess, but in the most glorious of ways. Baumbach mentioned he decided to make “White Noise” after seeing society collapsing in early 2020 due to the pandemic.
Don DeLillo’s novel is the dissection of an American family via apocalyptic circumstances. It goes against everything that is sacred in 2022, and for that we should be thankful Baumbach convinced Netflix to give him the greenlight on this one.
If there’s one thing ‘Fast & Furious’ needs, it’s an ethical minefield right before it comes out. Bringing back a deceased actor via AI might sound like something out of Black Mirror, but hey, if it sells tickets.
