Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ is Getting Weirder by the Day

June 25, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

What is Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” exactly about?

The reason why we’re all so excited by this movie is because it’s directed by Greta Gerwig and co-written by Noah Baumbach. If these two artists were not part of the creative process then this would not be one of the most anticipated movies of 2023.

With that being said, a casting call came out yesterday “looking for tatooed people waiting to be arrested and gang members as extras.” The scenes in question are supposed to be filmed next week in London.

This comes a week after Margot Robbie (Barbie) and Ryan Gosling (Ken) were spotted on-set wearing cowboy hats and clothes.

As always, I’m intrigued and if anybody’s actually read the “Barbie” script or is working on the film then you’re more than welcome to contact me. We all want to know what Gerwig/Baumbach have up their sleeves here.
