Sources are telling IndieWire’s Eric Kohn that Adam Sandler and the Safdies are already “cooking up another project”.
That is more than enough for me to get excited about this new project. Sandler delivered one of his greatest performances in the Safdies’ “Uncut Gems” back in 2019. The movie itself was one of the best of the last decade.
Coming off their triumphant "Good Time," and “Uncut Gems,” the Safdies were recently hired to write and direct a remake of the Eddie Murphy/Nick Nolte crime drama, “48 Hours.” We don't know yet which of these two upcoming projects will be released first.
