POLL: Post Your Best Movies of 2022

January 1, 2023 Jordan Ruimy

UPDATE: Just a reminder that you have until tonight at 11:59pm to submit your list. This is turning into the biggest readers poll I could find online. The amount of ballots submitted has been overwhelming. Thanks to all those who have participated so far.

This will be our first annual readers poll — the best movies of 2022. The task is simple: either post your 5-10 cinematic highlights of the year in the comments section or email them to me in our Contact Us sidebar. Results will be posted in the coming week.

I already chimed in with my best of list a week ago. The 20 highlights of my movie year included Crimes of the Future, The Banshees of Inisherin, Tár, Happening, Aftersun, Funny Pages, Apollo 10 1⁄2, Kimi, Watcher, Triangle of Sadness, Babylon, Nope, Armageddon Time, Glass Onion, Elvis, Barbarian, Vortex, The Menu, She Said, Navalny, Nitram Resurrection, and Blonde.

It’ll be interesting to see how our readers differ from the consensus. I’m guessing the love “Blonde” keeps getting in these neck of the woods will show up on this poll. Ditto “Babylon” which has been getting a lot of positive feedback here.

Ballots will be accepted up until Sunday evening at 11:59pm ET.
