Martin Scorsese Says ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ Will Be Released “In A Few Months”

December 4, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

At a Metrograph Q&A for “The Eternal Daughter,” Martin Scorsese mentioned that his upcoming “Killers of the Flower Moon” is being mixed and will be released “in a few months.”

Will it premiere at Cannes? There have been rumors about that. Apple, which is distributing the film, also has Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” next summer, maybe that’ll also go to Cannes.

Back in July, ‘Killers’ screenwriter Eric Roth had mentioned that the film was screened for Paramount/Apple people. The screening had gone very well, that was followed by some small reshoots for the epilogue of the film in NYC. Then radio silence.

I read the book the film is based on. It’s fantastic. I’d love for Scorsese to give it the same meditative treatment he gave “Silence,” and “The Irishman.” Regardless, I’m sure we’ll be getting more details on this one very soon.
