There is absolutely no way to ignore David Leitch’s “Bullet Train,” a 2022 action movie starring Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Michael Shannon, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The film is an adaptation of Kotaro Isaka‘s novel of the same name, the book is a darkly satirical thriller dealing with a suitcase full of money and the assassins on the hunt for it.
A test screening happened in the West Coast last night and I am in the process of, hopefully, posting a reaction from someone who was in attendance. What I can confirm is that both people I’ve spoken to, who were at the “Bullet Train” test-run, absolutely loved it.
Leitch is primarily known as an action director, he kickstarted his career with 2014’s “John Wick,” and followed that one up with “Deadpool 2” and “Atomic Blonde.” Bullock and Pitt have never worked alongside each other, so that, in itself, can be seen as a major draw for movie fans.
”Bullet Train” is set to hit theatres on April 8th, 2022
