The recently posted 10.24.21 piece 2022 Could Be a Landmark Year went viral with conversation on both Facebook and Twitter. There were lots of suggestions and comments. I’ve added the ones deserving of inclusion, those include Neil Jordan’s “Marlowe,” Sebastian Lelio‘s “The Wonder,” Paul Schrader’s “The Master Gardener” Pietro Marcello’s “Scarlet,” Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s “On Barren Weeds,” Andrey Zvyagintsev’s “What Happens,” Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s “Bigbug,” and Ryūsuke Hamaguchi‘s “Our Apprenticeship.”
As expected, Snyder's latest is being torn apart by TIFF attendees. No mercy given. The film, which had its world premiere this evening, is being called by some one of the worst movies to ever premiere at the festival.
