Released in 2000, this legal drama tells the story of a woman who fought in the court against the huge energy corporation. Erin, played by Julia Roberts, learned about a cover-up of the industrial poisoning that was exposing local people to contaminated water. This contributed to the serious illnesses of people living in the community, so Erin decided to kick off her legal investigation.
The Rainmaker
This is a 1997 legal drama film directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on John Grisham's novel. ‘The Rainmaker’ tells the story of an attorney by the name of Rudy Baylor who is forced to take a job under another lawyer of questionable morals because he can’t find work.
