Netflix to Release ‘The Devil All the Time' in September

July 16, 2020 Jordan Ruimy

In April, our very own Theo Fisher wrote about Antonio Campos’ “The Devil All the Time”:

“Set between the end of WWII and the beginning of the Vietnam war, this adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock’s psychological thriller-esque novel by “Christine” Director Antonio Campos follows the stories of various people who have suffered at the hands of post-war society.”

Today comes the news that Campos’ film will be released by Netflix on September 16th. The streaming giant couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the pandemic, they are relentless in the amount of streaming content they have greenlit for release these past few months. Their fall lineup is stacked with heavy-hitting titles such as David Fincher’s “Mank,” “Charlie Kaufman’s “I’m Thinking of Ending Things,” Ron Howard’s “Hillbilly Elegy,” and Ben Wheatley’’s “Rebecca.”

The “Devil All the Time” cast is star-studded throughout, including the likes of Tom Holland, Mia Wasikowska, Sebastian Stan, Robert Pattinson, Riley Keough, Bill Skarsgard, Eliza Scanlan, and Jason Clarke.
