David Lynch Admits to Loving Quarantine Isolation

October 7, 2020 Jordan Ruimy

I adore David Lynch. I consider him a hero of mine and not just because he’s made some incredible films, but because he truly inspires - he’s inspired me to drink great coffee, meditate more, and, most importantly, look at the world with a whole new set of eyes. Attention must always be paid to whatever new interview he does, whatever new ideas he has to talk about.

Lynch is also apparently having a blast during this never-ending pandemic. Speaking in an interview with PCS Literary Magazine, the legendary director says he’s stopped worrying and learned to love quarantine:

“I’m in isolation. I love isolation,” Lynch said. “So, I’m not able to make films, but I’m able to paint and work on sculpture and work on my YouTube channel. And it’s pretty great. I really kind of like isolation .. I don’t know for sure, but I’d be probably making a film or a continuing story,” he answered.

By “a continuing story” is Lynch hinting at the return to “Twin Peaks”?
