‘Toy Story 4' Crosses $1 Billion, Fifth Disney Film to Hit Global Box Office Landmark in 2019

August 15, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

Another day, another sly chess move in Disney’s never-ending goal to take over all of our entertainment needs. Yes, “Toy Story 4” has crossed the billion dollar mark, which means it is the fifth movie from Disney this year to make over a billion worldwide — the others being “Avengers: Endgame,” “Aladdin,” “The Lion King,” “Captain Marvel.”

Actually, they technically have six movies which crossed the Billion dollar mark this year, that is if you include ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home,’ a movie made BY Disney FOR Sony. They will also have “Frozen 2” and “Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker” out before the year is done, both of which are expected to come close or even cross the Billion-dollar mark … Hail, Hydra.
