Why is Tim Miller even mentioning to Variety that his upcoming “Terminator: Dark Fate” might offend “misogynistic internet trolls”? Is he trying to score up a few points with the Twitter crowd? Yes, ‘Dark Fate’ has a cyborg character called Grace; Played by Mackenzie Davis, Grace is muscular, strong and can most definitely defend herself — why would she piss people off? The issue is a non-starter and is only being created by Miller to have his movie seen in a feminist light. I look forward to the movie, but it’s Terminator not Suffragette. There won’t be a backlash here ala Ghostbusters.
“If you’re at all enlightened, she’ll play like gangbusters.
