I really want to get to the bottom of Lashana Lynch being rumored as the next 007 in Cary Fukunaga’s upcoming “Bond 25.” Except, I want to take my time, to read up on it before spewing wildly inaccurate theories. Lynch (who stole the show in “Captain Marvel”) is set to play MI6 agent Nomi, who is supposed to be shadowing a near-retired Bond (Daniel Craig). The backlash seems to be stemming from Nomi potentially taking over Bond’s 007 code number in “Bond 25.” So, now, we will be hearing people complain that 007 should not only be white, but male as well. Fantastic.
