Kathryn Bigelow’s “Strange Days” has remained largely unavailable on physical media, with only an old DVD edition to its name, but Disney is finally set to release the film on 4K Blu-ray.
Many thought this one might show up this awards season, especially given the recent pedigree of Kwedar and his writing partner Clint Bentley. The film wrapped production in October 2025.
These 31 titles clearly have their share of detractors — that’s why they’re “rotten” — and I expect some people to question a few of these picks. That’s fine. However, I believe most are strong films, worth reevaluating.
Cretton, who is directing “Naruto,” also has a “Shang-Chi” sequel in development. After dropping out of “Avengers: Kang Dynasty,” he was hired to direct “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
This year’s 12th edition of the Scary Movies festival at Film at Lincoln Center premiered Ari Aster’s extended version of “Midsommar” this past Saturday.
Apparently Topher Grace has had enough time in his hands to edit all ten Star Wars films into an epic new “trailer.” For Grace, according to his tweet, it was all part of a fun weekend he spent with a friend, while the wives were gone somewhere. His inner fanboy came out, were all guilty of that every so often, this is very well-done, but I wouldn’t call it a “trailer” probably more like a brief summary of 25 hours worth of movies.

I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of looking forward to the “Michael” sequel. Whether Vantoine directs it or John Logan, it doesn’t matter—it’s an inevitable sh*tshow that will result from its making and release.
