I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of looking forward to the “Michael” sequel. Whether Vantoine directs it or John Logan, it doesn’t matter—it’s an inevitable sh*tshow that will result from its making and release.
Kathryn Bigelow’s “Strange Days” has remained largely unavailable on physical media, with only an old DVD edition to its name, but Disney is finally set to release the film on 4K Blu-ray.
Many thought this one might show up this awards season, especially given the recent pedigree of Kwedar and his writing partner Clint Bentley. The film wrapped production in October 2025.
These 31 titles clearly have their share of detractors — that’s why they’re “rotten” — and I expect some people to question a few of these picks. That’s fine. However, I believe most are strong films, worth reevaluating.
