Film certification board of India refuses to certify "Lipstick under my burkha", thereby blocking its release. Their reasons include that it is “lady oriented”

I find it hysterical that they try to block good films, like Moonlight, but continue to release over the top films that all break out into random song and dance. The film culture over there is ... interesting, to say the least.

Not only is this new decision ridiculous, but the rampant spelling errors and unusual syntax really bother me. India's film censor board is abysmal. There is no space for thought-provoking cinema. It's all just Bollywood romantic musicals that get the go-ahead. Where's the freedom of speech?  India's younger generation has proved it is progressive and open to change, and it is the dinosaurs in the government who will end up on the wrong side of history with this.
