The first wave of social media reactions to Zach Cregger’s “Weapons” are in, and while it’s still early, and social media reactions are to be taken lightly, the “buzz” is promising.

Venice remains the unofficial kickoff to awards season, and Barbera has masterfully shaped it into Cannes’ most viable rival.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to post about this “first look” still of Kathryn Bigelow’s “A House of Dynamite,” which might be the worst image you could pick to build anticipation for a film.

So, apparently, Taylor Russell, who just dropped out of “Thomas Crown Affair,” is now attached to star in Frank Ocean’s directorial debut for A24.

Dan Trachtenberg, who revitalized the ‘Predator’ franchise with 2022’s “Prey,” is back behind the camera for “Predator: Badlands,” and the first trailer has officially dropped.

Russell, who was the co-lead, alongside Jordan, departed the film in the middle of shooting. Her exit stemmed from “creative differences.”

James Gunn’s “Superman” has been struggling to meet expectations overseas, currently at $171M, with theories swirling as to why that is the case.

Gus Van Sant is back. After years of radio silence on the feature film front, the iconic filmmaker is set to return this fall with “Dead Man’s Wire.”

Here comes an interesting film from the same team that brought us “The Brutalist.” It’s a radical musical co-written by Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet.

It’ll be an ambitious film. Clocking in at a hefty 2 hours and 29 minutes, “Frankenstein” is only one minute shorter than del Toro’s last live-action, 2021’s “Nightmare Alley.”
