Chris Evans Sets MCU Return in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Chris Evans is set to make his MCU return in “Avengers: Doomsday,” according to The Wrap. The exact nature of his role is unknown, but he did play Captain America, and it’d be odd if he didn’t return as that character. Then again, Marvel recently cast Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

‘Red One’ Streams on Prime This Week; $87M Domestic Gross

Dwayne Johnson’s Christmas action movie, “Red One,” was released 26 days ago, and is now set to stream on Prime this Thursday. Starring Johnson and Chris Evans, the Santa abduction action-comedy, originally intended exclusively for streaming, severely underperformed at the box office. “Red One” has only grossed $164M worldwide on a $250M budget.

‘Moana 2’ Was Still A Disney+ Series in January 2024

“Moana 2” is currently lighting up the box-office, having already amassed $600M worldwide. However, what’s most interesting about “Moana 2” is that it was originally developed, and almost practically shot, as a Disney+ series before being reworked as a film.

Michael Mann Wants to Direct Vietnam War Movie ‘Hué 1968' After ‘Heat 2'
