The 83-year-old director finally getting behind the camera once again for a film titled “Ella McCay.” Production is set to begin in December. The film is being backed by 20th Century Studios.

It seems as though the Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting bad news on a near daily basis. The end is nigh and the warning signs are all over the place. It doesn’t even feel like “superhero fatigue” but more like total and utter sabotage on their part.

When Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” was released, it was met with a lot of hate. It even garnered Kubrick a Razzie nomination for worst director.

If these numbers stick then this will be a successful launch for Lionsgate. The movie, which hits theaters this Friday, hasn’t had the best reviews — it currently sits at 59% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jim Jarmusch hasn’t released a movie in four years, but that will likely change very soon as we now have news of a new project coming from the 70 year-old writer-director.
