From what I was told last week, Alberto Barbera “liked” and wanted “Women Talking” at Venice, but was perfectly fine with Polley’s film choosing its Telluride-TIFF trajectory instead.

The reviews for Laura Poitras’ “All the Beauty and the Bloodshed” are trickling in. Poitras’ doc is the only film doing all four of the major fall festivals this year. There’s a lot of hype over this movie, and it seems justified.

EXCLUSIVE: Sofia Coppola is set to start shooting her next movie on October 24th with an end date of December 2nd. The film is titled “Domino” and will be shot both in Toronto and California.

The lineup for the Telluride Film Festival Lineup has been revealed. My predictions were fairly accurate, but one big surprise is “Lady Chatterly’s Lover,” which was supposed to be a TIFF world premiere.
