After Martin Scorsese, another master of the craft was enthralled by Todd Field’s “TÁR.”
Alfonso Cuaron, who recently worked with Cate Blanchett, mentioned to the actress about how blown away he was by Field’s achievement:
“I was working with Alfonso Cuarón in London last year and he’d seen Tár and he said, ‘I’ve seen it three times: I saw it once and I just was blown away; the second time, I was envious, and the third time I went, how the fuck did [director Todd Field] do that?'”
Cuaron, a two-time Best Director Oscar winner, directed Blanchett on the upcoming Apple TV+ series “Disclaimer.” Cuarón wrote and directed every episode with DP extraordinaire Emmanuel Lubezki also lensing. We’re all hoping for a fall debut on Apple TV.
