This weekend, California AG Rob Bonta is meeting with Paramount to discuss a potential deal in the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.

Mark Ruffalo — him again — is not happy.

On Saturday, Ruffalo tweeted he was hearing “Bonta is about to cave” to the Ellisons, and urged the AG to "reject the deal" that he and other AGs are currently negotiating with the Ellison-run Paramount.

Bonta's office did not respond to requests for comment Friday, as leaks from the AGs's settlement talks with Paramount spread across the media. The California AG is leading the coalition, whose suit is widely viewed as the last serious obstacle to the Ellisons' acquisition of Warner Bros. — assuming the talks don't resolve it first.
