So, it’s actually happening? ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 began filming last week, and as proof of life, HBO decided to release a first look image of this much-anticipated final season — above.
Based on what’s been gathered, the new season will be composed of 8 episodes, and each episode will take around a month to complete. Filming is supposed to wrap in June/July. Also, due to the actors’ busy schedules, it sounds like not every actor will be needed for each episode.
Just to recap, Zendaya (“The Odyssey”), Jacob Elordi (“Wuthering Heights”) and Sydney Sweeney (“The Housemaid”) are supposed to be shooting films between now and June, so whoever mastered the filming schedule for this latest season of “Euphoria” deserves a raise.
The main cast is set to return, and that includes Zendaya, Elordi, Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and Colman Domingo. The new season will not be taking place in high school. Show creator Sam Levinson had originally described his intentions for this next season as being steeped in “film noir” influence.
