‘Venom: The Last Dance' Trailer ...

September 12, 2024 Jordan Ruimy

For some inexplicable reason, the first two ‘Venom’ movies were very popular with audiences. The first one grossed $850M worldwide, the second earned around $560M. This third chapter, presumably the ‘Last Dance,’ has Tom Hardy’s Eddie/Venom on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo needs to somehow survive their enemies.

“Venom: The Last Dance” has a new trailer. The film stars Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The film is helmed by potential Bond directing contender, Kelly Marcel, from a screenplay she wrote, and based on a story by Hardy and herself.

If you don’t know much about Marcel, she wrote the first two ‘Venom’ flicks and was the main screenwriter on “Saving Mr. Banks” and “Fifty Shades of Gray.'“ ‘The Last Dance’ is her directorial debut, so we’re expecting a masterpiece here.

This third ‘Venom’ is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2024. Sony is banking hard on this one especially, since a few months later, ‘Kraven’ gets released and, much like “Madame Web” and “Morbius,” might lose them a ton of money.
