“Borderlands” is set up a VOD date of August 30. That’s just 21 days after being theatrically released. At this time, it's not clear if the decision has anything to do with the film's box-office performance, or if this was always part of the plan for Lionsgate. The film dropped 72% in its second weekend of release, the largest drop of any wide released title in 2024.
