Venice Schedule Leak Reveals Key Dates

July 26, 2024 Jordan Ruimy

Here’s how the Venice schedule is shaping up, so far. As far as the key films are concerned, all of them are represented with dates below. No word yet on when Jon Watts’ “Wolfs,” Harmony Korine’s “Baby Invasion,” and Alfonso Cuaron’s “Disclaimer” will be screening.

Aug 28 — “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”
Aug 29 — “Maria,” “Disclaimer”
Aug 30 — “Babygirl”
Aug 31 — “The Order”, “Baby Invasion”
Sep 1 — “The Brutalist”, “Wolfs”
Sep 2 — “The Room Next Door”
Sep 3 — “Queer”
Sep 4 — “Joker: Folie à Deux”

Judging by the above dates, it’s looking like “Maria” and “Babygirl” will be headed to Telluride. As mentioned by Venice head Alberto Barbera, “The Room Next Door,” “Queer,” and “Joker: Folie à Deux” are screening late in the festival and won’t be headed to Telluride.
