Columbia Pictures has seemingly registered “28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple” as the title for the follow-up to Danny Boyle’s film. Shooting on the first one, which stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes, began in London last month. There will be a brief hiatus when production wraps before filming gears back up again for ‘Part Two’, which will be directed by Nia DaCosta (“The Marvels”).
Netflix and Skydance Animation have also called it quits. The two sides announced Monday that they're ending the animated film deal struck back in 2023, framing it as a mutual decision.
