Isabelle Huppert will lead the 2024 Venice Film Festival jury this year. Serving as jury president, Huppert will hand out the Golden Lion which was won last year by Lanthimos’ “Poor Things”. What a great choice. It’s either Huppert or Cate Blanchett as the best living actress — Blanchett had previously presided over the 2020 jury. The dates for this year’s edition of Venice are August 28 to September 7.
