This is truly a bad idea. A George Floyd biopic, titled “Daddy Changed the World,” is in the works (via Variety). Floyd’s daughter, Gianna Floyd, and her mother, Roxie Washington, are involved in the project, serving as executive producers. Gregory R. Anderson (“Stomp the Yard”) will write the screenplay for the movie, which will capture the life of the man whose death in 2020 sparked riots and protests. The film is still in search for a director. Radar Pictures is backing this one, but one has to wonder if any big studio will actually want to back it.
Still no distributor for "Bucking Fastard," "Alpha Gang," "The Last Photograph," "Closing Night," and "The Life and Deaths of Wilson Shedd." The issue seems to be quality more than a lack of willingness to buy.
