Sony has officially marked down Danny Boyle’s “28 Years Later” for a June 20, 2025 theatrical release. The film is a sequel to 2002’s “28 Days Later” and stars Jack O’Connell, Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes. The planned trilogy will be followed by the second part, directed by Nia DaCosta (“The Marvels”). The plan is to shoot both films back to back.
In case you’re too curious to wait, here’s the leaked teaser for Jeremy Saulnier’s “Slayground” that’s currently being shown in theaters, and it plays hard.
