Hollywood’s current obsession with long movies continues. Post-production work on George Miller’s “Furiosa” has officially ended and it clocks in at 2 hours and 28 minutes. 2015’s ‘Fury Road’ was exactly 2 hours. Of course, given that “Furiosa” is said to span 15 years, and is divided into three chapters, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to learn that it’s a lengthy film.
Edward Berger seems to have settled on what comes next. His Lance Armstrong biopic, starring Austin Butler, is now holding casting calls, with production eyed for January.
