This is really sad news. The Sundance Film Festival is looking to move out of Utah by the year 2027. They are now soliciting bids on where to relocate the festival to. The fest has been taking place in Utah since 1985. The 2025 and 2026 editions of the festival will still be taking place in Park City. However, if Sundance wants to extend its contract with Park City beyond 2026, the deadline is October 2024. Godspeed.
