This is a safe space to air out all of your grievances, or praises, for Alex Garland’s “Civil War.” The film took in almost $11 million yesterday, and is on its way to a $25-30 million weekend. A huge win for A24 — easily their biggest opening ever. The CinemaScore isn’t the most crowd-pleasing, it nabbed a B-, but its 7.6/10 score on IMDb is a good sign.
