Adam Driver Set to Star in Leos Carax’s Next Film

February 14, 2024 Jordan Ruimy

French master Leos Carax already shot his next film, titled “C’est Pas Moi,” which runs a little under an hour. It’s a reflective “essay” piece that might premiere out of competition at this coming May’s Cannes Film Festival.

It turns out that Carax is also working on an actual feature-length film. Speaking to AnOther Magazine, Juliette Binoche — who collaborated with Carax on two films — revealed that the filmmaker “has a new project with Adam Driver.”

That’s about as far as Binoche goes in terms of details. Carax is coming off his 2021 Cannes-winning “Annette,” which also starred Driver. I had reported last year that Carax he working on a new project with Lea Seydoux, I’m now convinced that it’s the same film that’s supposed to star Driver.

Carax tends to take years between making films. His filmography is literally composed of just six films: 1984’s “Boy Meets Girl,” 1986’s “Mauvais Sang,” 1991’s “Lovers on the Bridge,” 1999’s “Pola X,” 2012’s “Holy Motors,” and 2021’s “Annette.”
